Hose wire clamping tool is intended for secure clamping of flexible hoses to the rigid or semirigid pipes.

SS400D is the highest-quality subgrade of common construction steel SS400. It features tensile strength of 510 MPa thanks to work hardening. Please note what SS400D steel has only moderate corrosion resistance. Please avoid a prolonged exposure to water-based liquids to prevent rusting.

Tool comparison within wire clamp type
WC08-140 is winch-subtype wire clamping tool, mechanically similar to Haywire Klamper.  WC08-140 was designed to be maximally robust and ergonomic with clamping forces increased up to 60kgf while not hampering accessibility. It still need more work space than screw-subtype wire clamping Clamptite tools, because during clamping, hand of operator must be gripping winch handle from the side of the clamp.
Tool comparison with screw-operated band clamps
Unlike screw-tightened band clamps, wire clamps, including WC08-140, are intrinsically more flexible in usage, stronger and use cheaper and more accessible expendable material (wire instead of prefab bands). Downsides of wire clamps of all subtypes are requirement of a considerable skill, longer clamping times, and sometimes difficulty to access clamped joint. Please see slides 5-9 for the usage demonstration of WC08-140.
